Laser Processing / Engraving

State-of-the-art CO2 Laser treatment system offers the ability to process several materials and surfaces, depending on the application. With a laser power expandable up to 60W and a working surface of  40X38cm a variety of small to medium scale tasks can be accomplished.

Laser processing includes cutting and/or engraving for materials such as wood, plastics, composites, or soft metals, while for harder ones (i.e. stainless steel) specific surface treatments can be applied (grafting).

Beside the conventional ‘mechanical’ processes, ADRINE elevates the capability of the laser-based system to conduct top level research for innovative/multifunctional materials, by implementing controlled local treatment of polymer-based substrates producing graphene structures (Laser Induced Graphene – LIG), that exhibit electrically/thermally conductive properties.
